1. What is MVP?

MVP is a system that converts fees paid within the MapleStory Universe ecosystem into NXPC units to assign ranks, providing various benefits based on your achieved rank.  Your spending is converted into NXPC-denominated points, and a rank from Bronze to Black is assigned based on your total points over the past 13 weeks. You can check your MVP rank by connecting your wallet and navigating to [My page > Overview] Mvp 01

1.1. What Benefits Does MVP Provide?

The MVP System is designed to ensure that Maplers who actively contribute to the MapleStory Universe ecosystem are recognized and rewarded. In MapleStory N, various in-game reward items are provided based on your MVP rank. For detailed benefit information, please refer to the [MapleStory N MVP Guide]. Mvp 02

  • Daily limits for Token Transfer and Warp-Out are determined by your KYC verification level. Please refer to the [Verification Guide] for details.
In MapleStory Universe, Token Transfer, Warp-Out, NFT/FT Transfer, and MSU Marketplace activity differ based on MVP status.
  • Token Transfer (NXPC, NESO, USDT) and Warp-Out (NXPC, USDT) are only available to accounts with an MVP rank.
  • NFT and FT transfers require both MVP rank and KYC Lv.1 or above.
  • MVP accounts have full access to all Marketplace features, including buying, listing for sale, making offers, and placing bids.
  • Non-MVP accounts can only purchase Character NFTs listed on the Marketplace. All other Marketplace features are restricted.
If your MVP rank drops to Unranked on a Thursday recalculation, you will no longer be able to buy, create new listings, make offers, or place bids from that point (Character NFT purchases excluded). However, existing listings, offers, and bids placed before the rank change will remain active.
Non-MVP accounts are restricted from Token Transfer and Warp-Out even if KYC verification has been completed.

2. How MVP Ranks Are Calculated

MVP StatusRankPoints Required
Non-MVPUnranked0 ≤ Points < 30
MVPBronze30 ≤ Points < 750
MVPSilver750 ≤ Points < 1,500
MVPGold1,500 ≤ Points < 3,500
MVPDiamond3,500 ≤ Points < 7,000
MVPBlack7,000 ≤ Points
MVP ranks are determined by your total points accumulated over the past 13 weeks.
  • Points are denominated in NXPC units (1 NXPC = 100,000 NESO).
  • A minimum of 30 points is required to qualify for MVP status.

2.1. What Counts Toward MVP Points?

MVP points are calculated based on spending across the MapleStory Universe ecosystem. The following activities count toward your points:
  • Content fees and purchases related to MapleStory N
    • Power Crystal purchases, Arcane Symbol enhancement, and more
  • MSU Marketplace trade fees
    • For Marketplace trades, MVP points are attributed to the buyer (the account that made the purchase), not the seller.
  • MSU Web Shop purchases
Eligible spending types may be updated in the future. Any changes will be announced separately.

2.2. How Points Are Calculated

Your points are updated each time eligible spending occurs. Only points from the past 13 weeks are counted, where one week is defined as Thursday through Wednesday. Rank increases and decreases follow different rules:
  • Rank Increase: Takes effect immediately when you meet the point requirement for a higher rank.
  • Rank Decrease: Rank decreases are checked and applied every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC+0). If your 13-week total points at that time are below your current rank’s threshold, your rank will be lowered.
Rank Change Example
  • Current date: Friday, May 15
  • Current MVP points: 0
  • Current rank: Unranked\
  1. On May 15 (Fri), you spend 35 NXPC. Your total points become 35, which meets the Bronze threshold (30+). You are immediately promoted to Bronze.
  2. The 35 NXPC was spent during the week of May 14 (Thu) - May 20 (Wed). This means those points will remain in the 13-week window until August 12 (Wed).
  3. If no additional spending occurs by August 12 (Wed), the weekly recalculation on August 13 (Thu) will exclude the May 14-20 week. If the remaining points fall below 30, your rank will drop to Unranked on Thursday.
MVP only counts the past 13 weeks. As each new week begins, the oldest week drops off and those points are no longer counted. Maintaining your rank requires continued activity.

2.3. Checking MVP Rank Information

You can view your current MVP rank status information on the Overview page. Mpv 03 The Overview page displays the following MVP information, updated in real time as your points change:
  • Current Points: Your total points over the past 13 weeks.
  • Points to Keep Rank: The extra points needed to maintain your current MVP rank after the upcoming Thursday recalculation.
  • Expected Rank: Your expected MVP rank after the upcoming Thursday based on current points. If this differs from your current rank, a rank change will occur on the next recalculation.
You can monitor your points and MVP rank at any time and check in advance whether a rank change is expected on the upcoming Thursday.
