1. What is MSU Space?

MSU Space is a platform on Verse8 where anyone can build and publish MapleStory-themed games using AI and official MapleStory Universe (MSU) resources. No studio, no approvals, and no coding experience required. The process from registration to publishing follows four stages:
  • Stage 1: Join the Creator Program on MSU Space
  • Stage 2: Build your game using AI in Verse8
  • Stage 3: Publish your game to MSU Space
  • Stage 4: Submit your entry to the MapleStory Vibe Camp form
 

2. Sign Up

To get started, create a Verse8 account and apply to the Creator Program.
  1. Navigate to MSU Space (verse8.io/msu) and click Get Started.
  2. On the Creator Program page, click Agree & Apply under Terms & Application.
  3. In the sign-in modal, select a sign-up method. Email and Google are available for new accounts. X and Discord are for sign-in only.
 

3. Terms & Application

After signing in, a Terms & Application modal will appear. Review and agree to both sets of terms to proceed.
  1. Read the MSU Space Terms and toggle on I agree to the MSU Space Terms.
  2. Read the MapleStory Vibe Camp Terms and toggle on I agree to the MapleStory Vibe Camp Terms.
  3. Click Agree & Continue.
 

4. Verification

Verify your identity with a one-time code to unlock MSU resources.
  1. In the Verify your phone modal, select your country and enter your phone number.
  2. Click Send Code. Enter the one-time code sent to your phone.
  3. Click Done when the Verified confirmation appears.
Linking your MSU Builder account provides access to unlimited builder credits during the MapleStory Vibe Camp period.
How to connect MSU Builder account with Verse8:
  1. Click ‘Get started’ on the [MSU Space] home screen.
  2. Agree to the ‘Terms & Application’ on the Creator program page, then click ‘Connect your MSU Builder account’ under the Credit Refill policy.
  3. Click ‘Connect with MSU Builder’ on the MSU Builder banner.
 

5. Creating a Game

After completing verification, return to the Creator Program page and click Go Create. If a MapleStory Vibe Camp welcome popup appears, click Get Started to enter the editor. In the editor, describe the game you want to build in the prompt input and click Run. The AI will use official MapleStory Universe resources to generate a playable game. You can browse MapleStory characters, monsters, items, and more using MSU Resource Search before writing your prompt.

Once the game is generated, review the preview and refine it with follow-up prompts until it plays the way you want.

6. Launching Your Game

When your game is ready, click Launch in the top-right corner of the editor to begin the launch process.
  • Step 1 — Info
    Enter the required fields including Game Title and Tag, then click Continue.
  • Step 2 — Visuals
    Add a Game Thumbnail (generate with AI or upload your own) and an optional Preview Video, then click Continue.
  • Step 3 — Notes
    Enter a Build Release Title, select a Release Type, and write a Release Description, then click Continue.
  • Step 4 — Launch
    Complete the basic settings and click Submit.
MSU games are reviewed before they go public. Track your review status on the Creator Program page.
